Lifting the Veil: Women Unite!

All the ladies, unite.  It’s time to takeover the world!  And we aren’t going to do so by dividing and conquering.  Shared beliefs and shared value systems are indestructible in the face of the male ego.  Not that the male is the cause of all the pain and sadness in our lives. We are. Allowing the male ego to dominate has been our way and ultimately spelled our demise.  As we begin to awaken from the throes of this domination, we start to find our way home. Becoming aware of ourselves and what we won’t put up with anymore. Listening to our intuitive sense, we trust us in this awakening process.

The wool over our eyes has been lifted.  As the veil lifts, so do we. Seeing and hearing what we ignored before.  Becoming mindful, and conscious and aware. No longer do we see other women as a threat.  Only as versions of ourselves. Expressing our own vulnerabilities, our desire to love and be loved.  We express our nurturing selves as we care for the world, its children and each other. We are worthy.  We are strong. We are empowered. To make decisions for ourselves. The world of man has lost its lustre.  We are unequivocally united in this life.

Success is ours for the taking.  We can meet men on equal footing.  We are educated. We are qualified.  And we are confident. We will persevere, in the face of discrimination, control and domination.  Systemic oppression of women, even in countries such as Saudi Arabia, is giving rise to a new way of doing things.  No longer can men use religion or societal norms or archaic laws to assert control over women. We decide. For ourselves.  What is right for us.

As we rise, we watch the demise of the moral compass of men. Men who have, without a second thought, watched as we toiled and given up on who we were.  For their happiness, for their benefit, for their elation, for their ego. We have sacrificed our own. Taking care of their families, we have turned a blind eye to abuse, neglect and played the role of Self-Sacrificer for too long. As we begin to awaken from the tight grip of control by males in our lives, including our own fathers, a shakedown begins.

The shaking of archaic structures, of old belief systems, of systemic oppression is beginning.  As the male ego begins its descent, we rise up. But as we do, we must be aware, to never replace the old with a new version.  We must rise and bring our male counterparts with us on this journey of self-discovery. Of being. Of creating our destinies, side by side.  As we would like. Balanced and poised for the next moment that comes at us. We are.
